The Real Housewives of The Tri-State came out to newlywed's Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' Welcome to New York Party.  It's not exactly clear what Kim and Kris were being welcomed to.  Kris has been playing basketball for the New Jersey Nets for some time and living in the area.  Kim has lived in New York to film her and Kourtney's reality show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.  Plus, Kim still resides in LA at least part-time, so it's not like this is some sort of earth shattering permanent move.  But when you're the Kardashians, you have parties for everything.

Sonja Morgan, Alex McCord, Simon VanKempen (NY), Dina Manzo (NJ), and Ramona Singer (NY) all attended A Night of Style & Glamour to welcome the KarHumps at Capitale on Wednesday, August 3 in New York.

Sonja wore a long leopard draped dress.  That along with her large blown out hair was a bit too animalistic and tribal.  Alex went for a more streamlined look with a fitted, print tube dress, while her fashion partner in crime, Simon, wore a plaid button down shirt and khaki pants.  Ramona chose a purple satin one-shoulder dress along with nude heels.

The Real Housewives are not known for having lasting marriages, particularly after they put them on TV.  However, they offered their advice to Kim and Kris on their new marriage, when reporters asked.

Bravo casts these women for their big personalities and opinions, so they were naturally asked about one of the biggest Housewives stories of all time- Russell Armstrong's suicide.  Ramona said, "To me the most tragic thing is that he felt the only way he could release his pain was to take his life."  Dina chimed in, "That little girl is gonna grow up without a daddy and to know that's how he took his life, is heartbreaking."

Taylor Armstrong mentioned that Russell abused her in divorce filings, and she reportedly kept photographic evidence.  Still, Simon thinks the show has to go on, telling Extra,  "It's awful, but you can't just scrap the series as if it didn't exist, because it does."  He continued defending reality TV, saying, "Reality TV, or having cameras in your life, it might put a magnifying glass on you, but the zit was still there.  The issues, the problems, were probably there beforehand."

Dina Manzo's new reality show, Dina's Party premieres on HGTV, Saturday September 10. Saturday shows typically don't do well unless they're of the cooking or designing variety. Melissa Gorga posed for a spread in Life&Style magazine where she showed off her rockin' bikini body. Melissa, 32, talked to the mag about juggling her new singing career with motherhood, and trying to stay in shape.  Plus, we know she has to keep her husband and his never ending sexual appetite satisfied.

"There is no dieting going on in the Gorga household! I can't diet! I stay active so I can eat what I want," Melissa tells Life & Style. However, she adds, "I'm not a huge meat-and-potatoes girl. I tend to go for lighter meals, because that's what I enjoy."  That seems to be the idea way to be.  You dont' diet or stress about what you eat, because you know you are naturally drawn to healthier meals.

Melissa had three c-sections in her birthing career.  Her last one was in December 2010.  After giving birth last year, Melissa got with trainer, Kelly Giordana, to whip her in shape.  Melissa worked out three times a week for hourlong weight workouts to stay toned.But with three kids, it's hard to maintain a steady workout. "I'm up and down the stairs and running around the house, so I feel I get cardio that way."

Kelly leads Melissa in a series of moves that includes "pulling exercises to help posture, lunges, squats, single-leg exercises, planks and twists from side to side," the trainer tells Life & Style."

Melissa is throwing herself into the spotlight even more than your average housewife, with a venture into the music world. This could mean more criticism from the interwebs. But Melissa plans to not focus on her problem areas. "I think you need to figure out which part of your body is your best and focus on it and flaunt it," she says.

Danielle Staub is never too far from anything with the word wives in it.  Danielle makes press talking about her former Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates.

Now she's making friends with Vh1's own in-house wives, the Basketball Wives.  Danielle attended the premiere of the new show, Basketball Wives: LA at Tian at the Riverbank on Monday, August 29 in New York City.

Danielle wore an adorable pink and white spotted babydoll dress, which she paired with black peep-toe heels.

Meanwhile, Danielle recently got that whole stripper ordeal off of her chest.  Danielle signed a three-year contract with Scores strip club to make appearances.  Danielle failed to make her appearances and Scores sued her.

Danielle explains the story saying, “That’s in litigation right now," she says. "I wasn’t handled properly, I'm going to put it that way. But I wasn’t there to do what ended up being and if you look at my eyes all I can say is you can see something is wrong. Something went very wrong.”  In the clip above, Danielle also talks about the release of her sex tape.

Jacqueline Laurita said it best.  Teresa Giudice has an uncanny ability to make things appear better than they are.  But this next challenge, may be hard to downplay.

Teresa and Joe filed for bankruptcy in 2009, claiming over $11 million in debt.  The bankruptcy trustee alleged that the couple knowingly withheld assets in the proceeding, including deposits in connection with Teresa's online store, TGFabulicious.com, and a $250,000 advance from her best seller cookbook, Skinny Italian.

According to a New Jersey attorney familiar with the case, Eric Lubin, Teresa received her book contract a week before filing for bankruptcy, but didn't sign the contract until a month after filing for bankruptcy.  It doesn't take a genius to see how a trier of fact could be led to believe Teresa was trying to sign the contract post bankruptcy to ensure the money came to her and not her creditors.

"How could anyone forget that they have $250,000 coming to them?,” Lubin questioned.

The offense could send Teresa to jail for up to six months.  Teresa actually spoke to Life & Style magazine and expressed some concern. “I wish I could make this all go away,” says Teresa, who insists any omissions were accidental, “but all I can do is take this one day at a time.”

Teresa and Joe were due in court on the bankruptcy allegations on July 14, but the matter was continued.

In true Teresa fashion, she tells the press she sees the light at the end of the tunnel. “I’ve worked hard to brand myself,” she tells Life & Style. “I have no fears… Hopefully everything is going to be good,” adds Teresa.

This season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is focusing on the tumultuous relationship between Jacqueline Laurita and her disrespectful daughter, Ashlee (formerly Ashley for reasons she'll explain later).

Ashlee has been unmotivated and entitled in additional to being rude to her mother.  She decided to go to LA to find some motivation.

According to her own Twitter, this week Ashlee made the move to LA.  Tuesday was moving day for Ashley, as noted above.  She lated added, “Been here for a total of 10minutes and i already LOVE my new home! #LA !!!!”

On her Celebuzz blog, Ashlee defended herself against what we can imagine are the many naysayers.  She writes, "I’m anxious to get to LA just to finally be there. I have some good friends out there, and it will be a nice change of scenery. I have A LOT of big things planned for myself. I have an internship waiting there for me with Buzznet & Celebuzz. I recently formed my own LLC. I’m currently working on my own clothing line that I hope to launch by 2012. I am working on building my own website, that will also be up and running soon. I am also writing a book. I think the content of the book is going to surprise a lot of people, no one REALLY knows me the way they think they do."

An internship at Celebuzz!  See, it's really all about who you know, as opposed to how talented you are.  We know she could theoretically be brilliant in some capacity, but her appearance on Bravo couldn't have exactly screamed "she's so hirable". Sorry normal people.  Ashlee even admitted how awful she was on the show in her blog.

Hopefully Ashlee has her life in order, because LA is not the place to be without money or a plan.  Conversely, everyone out here has some sort of hustle, so if Ashlee can't find motivation here, she simply can't find it.

Things are looking up according to Ashlee.  She made it clear on twitter that she was paying for her room and board in LA all by her big 20 year old self!
